At Murphy Sanchez PLLC, we believe in giving back to the community and supporting initiatives that make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. This holiday season, we are proud to announce our partnership with the Support Center for Child Advocates (Child Advocates) as charity sponsors for their 2024 Child Advocates Gift Card Drive.

About Support Center for Child Advocates

Child Advocates provides essential legal assistance and social service advocacy to children who have experienced abuse or neglect in Philadelphia County. Our dedicated team of social workers, lawyers, and volunteer attorneys work collaboratively to ensure that every child receives the highest quality representation and support to address their emotional, physical, educational, and behavioral health needs. Together, we strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for our young clients and their families.

The Need for Your Support

Rising costs have made it increasingly challenging for our clients’ families to provide not only gifts but also the basics. Gift cards are a versatile way to support caregivers and clients, allowing them to choose what they need most during this season. Last year, thanks to the generosity from hundreds of donors, we were able to provide gift cards to more than 1,400 young people. We are once again asking for gift card donations to distribute to all our clients and every child living in their home.

How You Can Help

We are collecting both physical and electronic gift cards, with a goal of distributing $50 in cards to each young person we serve. We can’t do it without your help!

Donation Options:

• Physical Gift Cards: Please mail or drop off gift cards to their office at 1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 1200, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
• E-Gift Cards: Send e-gift cards via email to event@SCCALaw.org. Please refer to the E-Card notice on this page: https://sccalaw.org/2024-child-advocates-gift-card-drive/

Preferred Denominations and Types:

While all denominations are welcome, $25 and $50 gift cards are the most useful. We suggest multi-purpose cards such as AMEX, Visa, Mastercard, and those from popular merchants like Target, Walmart, Macy’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Five Below, Gap, Old Navy, as well as grocery stores like Aldi, Lidl, Giant, Fresh Grocer, and ShopRite. Travel-related cards such as SEPTA Key Cards, Lyft, and Uber are also highly appreciated.
