Practice Summary

Michael C. Corcoran earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1991 from King’s College.  He then went on to receive his law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1997.  Following law school, Mr. Corcoran completed a legislative internship with The Office of the Speaker of the House in Washington D.C.  Mr. Corcoran was admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 1998. 

 

Mr. Cocoran focuses his practice solely on representing defendants in personal injury matters and has worked in the insurance defense field for the past 27 years.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial trucking and premises liability.   Mr. Corcoran has defended premises liability claims on behalf of amusement parks, water parks, and traveling carnivals from the Jersey Shore to the Pocono Mountains.  He is an experienced trial lawyer who has taken jury verdicts in both State and Federal courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  He is admitted to the U.S. District Court, New Jersey and U.S. District Court, Eastern Pennsylvania.  Mr. Corcoran is also a member of both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, as well as the New Jersey Defense Association.
