Practice Summary

Jeffrey C. Sotland is a founding partner of Murphy Sanchez. Focusing on a team approach to file handling, Mr. Sotland’s primary goal in representing more than one constituency is to communicate often and effectively to both the carrier and the insured. In over two decades of legal practice, he is often called upon by clients when an “out of the box” approach or solution is needed.

Mr. Sotland focuses his practice on property damage claims, overseeing the firm’s national practice in handling property losses for defendants and subrogation carriers. As part of the Life Safety Practice Group, he also handles the defense of fire sprinkler contractors throughout the country.

In addition to handling files nationwide, Mr. Sotland works with insurance carriers and self-insureds in setting up streamlined and effective procedures to bring about a successful outcome for the client. He is national counsel for various clients and self-insureds overseeing counsel throughout the country on a daily basis. He has also presented at various seminars and in house training for clients and their claims handlers.
