Murphy Sanchez, PLLC is pleased to welcome Jennifer Kafes, Esq. to the firm as an Associate in our Maryland office.
Jennifer Kafes, a 1995 graduate of the University of Maryland, continued her education at the University of Baltimore School of Law. There she was the Manuscripts Editor of the Journal of Environmental Law, and on the National Telecommunications Moot Court team.
Ms. Kafes has experience in various areas of litigation and that experience provides her with a keen understanding of all facets of trial work, and the know-how to effectively represent the interests of all clients. She is admitted in both federal and state courts in Maryland. Additionally, Ms. Kafes has experience before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission and the Office of Administrative Hearings. Ms. Kafes volunteers as a mock trial judge at the collegiate level and will be an adjunct professor at Stevenson University this spring teaching “Writing for Criminal Justice”. She has been an appointed member of the Peer Review Committee of the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland since 2008.
Born and raised in the Baltimore area, Ms. Kafes lives with her husband, where they enjoy spending time with their two grand-children and attending Baltimore Ravens and Orioles games.
