David S. Cohen presented “Hot Topics in Civil Litigation” at the PBA Midyear Meeting

Civil trial attorney David S. Cohen presented at a plenary program, titled “Hot Topics in Civil Litigation” at the PBA Midyear Meeting at Hilton Barbados Resort, Barbados on February 14, 2025. He was joined on the panel by Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justices Hon. Kevin P. Brobson and Hon. Sallie Updyke Mundy; attorneys Missy Boyd, Esq. and Scott B. Cooper, Esq.; and Kaye A. Williams, President, Barbados Bar Association. The session was moderated by Jack Goodrich. 

David is the Chair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is a founding member of the law firm of Murphy Sanchez, PLLC. He has spent his entire 33-year legal career as a civil litigation trial attorney. Mr. Cohen has taken jury verdicts in both State and Federal Courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He serves as Judge Pro Tempore at Settlement Conferences for cases in the Major Jury Trial program in Philadelphia’s Court of Common Pleas, a pro bono position. He is AV Preeminent Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Cohen received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Mr. Cohen is also a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel, and the Defense Research Institute (DRI).
